buildboss

Build boss iterates through a collection of source (C and C++) files, looking for special comments that hold compile and link information. From this information, buildboss produces a Makefile

So in a nutshell, buildboss auto generates (thereby eliminating) Makefiles. It uses pkg-config (found in all Linux distros) for compiler and link flags.
